Abstract：The invention relates to a refining process of 2, 2-bi(3-nitro-4-hydroxy phenyl)hexafluoropropane. The refining process is characterized by including: (1), adding a 2, 2-bi(3-nitro-4-hydroxy phenyl)hexafluoropropane crude product into a potassium carbonate or sodium hydroxide solution, and stirring until the crude product is completely dissolved; (2), performing suction filtering on the solution after being dissolved to filter impurities out; (3), dropwise adding a hydrochloric acid solution into the solution in the step (2) to adjust pH to 1-7 for solid precipitation; (4), adding dichloromethane into precipitated solid for dissolution, using a sodium carbonate solution for washing, layering, concentrating an oil layer, cooling and crystallizing, and performing suction filtering, washing and vacuum drying to obtain 2, 2-bi(3-nitro-4-hydroxy phenyl)hexafluoropropane. A product refined by using an organic solvent dichloromethane extraction method is high in purity, good in environment benefit and less in pollution, reaction byproducts can be eliminated thoroughly, and the product with ideal yield and purity can be obtained easily.
